How many m2 are in each roll?

Standard rolls contain 1m² of turf. Maxi rolls measure 25 m² and are suitable for larger projects such as parks, commercial sites, and sports fields. Maxi rolls mean fewer seams and faster laying for landscapers and builders working on bigger jobs.

What are your prices?

How long is the turnaround time from order to delivery?

What’s the difference between Sir Walter DNA Certified compared to other types of buffalo?

Sir Walter buffalo is DNA Certified, meaning every roll is genetically pure and tested. This guarantees consistent colour, shade tolerance and drought resistance. Other buffalo varieties can vary in quality. Sir Walter holds its colour in winter and needs less water than most buffalo turf options.

What does the 10-year product warranty cover?

Our 10-year LSA product warranty covers the genetic purity of your turf. If the grass you receive does not match the certified variety, you are covered. This applies to all turf supplies from our farm, giving customers peace of mind with every order.

How much does each roll of turf weigh?

A standard roll of turf weighs around 20–25 kg depending on moisture and soil content. Maxi rolls are heavier and best handled with machinery. Our delivery team can place turf where you need it on site so you avoid heavy lifting.

Can you still lay turf in winter?

Yes. You can lay turf in winter across the Hunter Valley. Winter lows in the Hunter region can drop to 2–4°C inland, which slows growth but does not stop root establishment. Growth will be slower during the cooler months, but roots still establish if the soil is prepared well. Water regularly and avoid heavy foot traffic until the lawn is settled. Most turf varieties handle winter laying without issue.

How thick is your grass in millimetres?

Our turf is cut at around 25–30 mm thick. This includes a healthy layer of soil and roots to support fast establishment. Thicker cuts help the grass hold moisture and settle into prepared ground quickly after laying.
